With a pencil in hand from a young age I have always been interested in visual storytelling. Some of my earliest memories are of growing up in Alberta Canada, drawing in fashion doll booklets and setting up photoshoots in my backyard with my sister. My ultimate passion is illustrating costume and showcasing the ways in which a character’s personality shines through the garments they wear.
I have attended TMU (Toronto Metropolitan University) for Fashion Communications and while there fell even more in love with garments, their details and history. After a few years my hunger to improve my illustration skills took me out of TMU and into the MTM Concept Art Program. Over the course of the program I learned many different concept art specialties (character, props, and environments) for both video games and film. Ultimately my interest in film and the idea of bringing a costume from page to the screen always won me over.
I am excited to pursue projects that will allow me to use my skills in costume concept art and design as well as any other artistic projects that may come my way.
